Its strange how music needs time. It needs a place in time to give it context, be that when its born into the world or when you stumble across it, days, weeks, months or even years later. I've just had one of those moments when music seems to give itself a new context. This particular Parlour track Over The Under, from the 2002 album Googler, floated on to my ipod somehow and seems to keep making a repeat appearance, begging for attention. Mellow driving post rock is always a good thing to be surprised by, especially if it feels this fresh after eight years.
