Just went along to a rad little gig on a whim last night down at the Buffalo Bar. Headlining were SM advocates Ringo Deathstarr, and they lived up to their MBV acolyte reputation - the sound in such a small venue was huge! But I was also mightily impressed with the support,
Tripwires. A Reading foursome, Tripwires combine skyscraper guitar riffs and shimmering distortion with honeyed hooks and soaring melodies, highlighted most eloquently on their main track 'Cinnamon', which you can have a taste of below. Very sweet indeed.
