Double Denim Records are unearthing another hot piece of ase - in this case, a 7" called Two Islands by Liverpool-based act Outfit. Its a languorous journey through aberrant noise and 80s inflected Sting references (really - and it works!). The vinyl is nice and clear, which a friend of mine guarantees will make you spin out as you watch it spin. Those kind of endorsements dont come cheap - head here to get your copy and get spun up in this crucible of sweeping dissonance and tropical whimsy - it shouldnt work, but its got something worthwhile. The hooks are there to be found my friend!
