Another rad little band to pop up over on the Land of the Long White Cloud is angular four piece Karmakaze. Spreading across a myriad of genres, the ones these young guys tend to fall back on is of the shoegaze variety, although they infuse it with some healthy doses of post-punk and sense of melody. They are still finding their feet, but as far as an opening statement is concerned, their self-titled EP isn't a bd one by any shake of the stick.
