I cant claim to know all that much about Ty Segall - he literally has only come to my attention this week via the LP Melted (through Castle Face). All I can say is that this guy - whether he is DIY to the max, or collaborating - is fucking awesome. And although this Tiny Mix Tapes review didn't agree with me, it has certainly opened my eyes to the world of this literal one-man band, and expect to hear more about him from Sonic Masala in the next couple of months.
