London's noisy nuisances Pet Scenes sent me the deets for what will be their debut EP, Funk, out today. Its three fast, punchy tracks that deliver on what the quartet have been promising since their inception - dirty, dirgey garage rock with ample bruises, nicotine stains and infected blood strewn in every direction. Its the kind of short blast of air that allows you to intellectualise your anger before picking up the nearest blunt instrument to give a physical demonstration of your woes. Good stuff.
