Just a quick message about Leeds rabblerousers Bruising, who are playing at The Old Blue Last tonight (alongside the great Abattoir Blues). These guys may have formed less than a year ago, but their combustible slacker rock is riotous and infectious, a sugar death pill of overt gurning noisy fun. They have a bunch of tracks floating around on different formats (the latest, 'Think About Death' (which is my favourite so far, by a mile) on the new Family Portrait compilation out through Art Is Hard - get it on vinyl here. Hopefully will get these guys back to London in the summer for a Sonic Masala show - what do you think?
