Never Mourn The Silver For The Gold

I haven't heard much of Spanish four-piece Mourn - but that is definitely about to change. Captured Tracks are putting out their debut record. These teens (none have hit that mythical age of 18) bristle with dark, spiked energy - the Polly Jean croon on 'Silver Gold' is electric and seductive; the pause and the blast in just a little early throwing you off guard; the siren howl of "Deliver me from heaven" juxtaposed by the banshee yelps - it's incredibly well orchestrated. These guys are white hot here - there isn't any posing or teetering lack of surety. The free track when you pre-order Mourn is called 'Boys Are Cunts'. I cannot wait to hear this record!
