Blame The Night Manager For Your Broke Haircut
I hadn't heard from Night Manager after their was news of a possible split release with Colorado spazzos School Knights (it thus far hasn't eventuated). Caitlin Seager and her gang of merry followers aren't sitting idle though - they are about to self-release their next EP, tour with labelmates Total Slacker and are prepping a single through Marshall Teller Records. Also there is this track 'Broke Haircut' that has been floating around the interwebs for the past couple weeks, both literally and figuratively. This is one reverb-laden track that sounds like "found footage" for a missing 60s band that followed the Yellow Brick Road and never came back. From the tape click and hiss at the beginning to the warped yet languid guitar and Seagar's spectral sighing and cooing, it's beautiful yet a little ominous.
